The soup mix was distributed and sold in ShopRite locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and potentially other states. The company became aware of the mispackaging after a customer complaint. However, no illnesses have yet to be connected to this recall.

Those that consume this product that have a sensitivity or allergy to eggs may experience a reaction, even as severe as anaphylaxis. Signs of anaphylaxis include hives, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and in the most severe cases, tightness of the throat or cardiac arrest.
