Brooks’ Ghost 16 Running Shoe Is on Rare Sale

I walk an hour at least four times a week and am very particular about my walking shoes. I tend to rotate between a few different options, but hands down, my favorite pair for hot spring and summer days is the Brooks Ghost 16. 

They’re like walking on air. The lightweight design is breathable and never makes me feel like I’m overheating or lugging around a big shoe, which is essential on hotter days. The brand released this updated version of its coveted Ghost sneaker in April of 2024, and I wore it all spring and summer long because of its features. I prefer to wear these shoes for my outdoor walking routine. They are so feathery and light that I practically can’t even feel them on my feet. The upper has the perfect balance of flexibility and structure, so my feet can breathe, while the shoes feel secure. Because of their breathability and light-as-air design, they’re a go-to for hot days. I wear them almost daily in the summer when I am out for walks so that my feet stay cool. And even though I walk for an hour or more, they absorb enough impact to ensure my feet are pain-free. There’s also excellent tread on the shoe’s sole that works well on everything from pavement to sandy surfaces, which is key for me since I spend a lot of time by the beach.
